Bite Size Parenting Advice with Sharon Mazel

from Yoga Birth Babies · host Deb Flashenberg and Independent Podcast Network

Do you feel overwhelmed by all the parenting choices available now?  In today’s podcast we discuss feeling confident in your choices as a parent.  We have so much information at our fingertips in 2024, it can be challenging to sort it all out.  Perhaps you feel conflicted about where to find reliable information or maybe you are experiencing decision fatigue.   I’ve invited Sharon Mazel, internationally recognized pregnancy and parenting expert, to talk about how we can feel grounded and confident in our parenting choices.  In this conversation, we also discuss myths surrounding baby’s first year, navigating milestones and how to make choices that are right for you and your family.      We welcome Sharon Mazel on this episode of Yoga|Birth|Babies.   Sharon is an internationally recognized parenting and pregnancy expert, author, journalist, speaker, parenting coach, and mom of four with over 25 years of experience in the field. Sharon is the author of Bite-Sized Parenting: Your Baby’s First Year and was previously with the What to Expect book series.  Sharon advises new parents to embrace the idea that there is no such thing as a perfect parent.  She says that parenting is a learning curve and everyday parents learn more about themselves and their children.  Sharon believes that if you are always open to learning, then you will make the best choices for your child.  She also suggests taking a look at the bigger picture, especially during moments that feel monumental.  When you are able to take a step back from any situation, you can gain a better perspective on what’s really happening in front of you.   I’m really excited for you to hear this conversation!  I think you are going to get a lot out of this discussion about making the best choices for your family.    Get the most out of each episode by checking out the show notes with links, resources and other related podcasts at: prenatalyogacenter.com  Don’t forget to grab your FREE guide, 5 Simple Solutions to the Most Common Pregnancy Pains HERE  If you love what you’ve been listening to, please leave a rating and review!
