Bittersweet

This is one of the three solo guitar pieces I wrote for my Master's recital at Belmont University. Of the three, this is my favorite. It's not the most technically flashy (in fact, with the exception of a couple of tough position changes, it's pretty easy), but I connect with it most, as it came out of a difficult time I was going through. It's about loss, and the difficulty of trying to be optimistic in the face of depression and anxiety, remembering the good times and coming to terms with the bad.
