TRIGGER WARNING. I tried. I really really really tried. But as a film fan, not a Star Wars fan, I can’t not hate almost everything that goes on in this movie. I never want to take a crap on something other people love, but this is a terrible, terrible piece of filmmaking by George Lucas that’s made even more perplexing by how fun and good Episodes I and III are. Nevertheless, Simi keeps us on point and we have a fantastic discussion about filmmaking, Lucas, SW, and the entire movie making and watching experience.
