BizzleCast 42: MAN OF STEEL film commentary ft. Matt Goisman

With BATMAN v SUPERMAN around the corner, Matt Goisman and I had way more fun re-watching MAN OF STEEL together for the Bizzlecast than either of us did by ourselves. MAN OF STEEL has an exciting if occasionally derivative visual style, courtesy of Zack Snyder. Still, some humorless and cliched dialogue bring down even some of the cooler scenes of the movie, which at times can look spectacular. This is supposed to be the foundation of a DC “cinematic universe” designed to rival Marvel Studios. The central question with BvS will be whether or not MAN OF STEEL accomplished this. Henry Cavill and Amy Adams have very good chemistry, and if BvS is as successful as DC/Warner Bros hopes, this relationship has major potential down the line.
