BizzleCast 86: "INTERSTELLAR" (2014) Film Commentary by The Bizzle

The Bizzle has released full film commentaries for “Serenity,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Martian,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Star Trek (2009),” “Contact,” and “Moon,” among his favorite scifi films. Here is one that has grown on me greatly over the past couple years: “Interstellar” by Christopher Nolan. Christopher Nolan is one of those directors who I always feel is a bit overrated, and yet many of his films, including the Dark Knight movies (although not “Inception”), end up growing on me over time, especially his movies that are most divisive. I like “The Dark Knight” and especially “Inception” far less than most, but I also like “The Dark Knight Rises” and this film, “Interstellar,” a lot more than others I’ve spoken with. “Interstellar” in particular has gotten better for me by leaps and bounds with each watching, mostly because of the performances of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and of course the amazing young Mackenzie Foy in a breakout performance from a spectacularly talented child actress.
