This bacterium causes a severe and sometimes fatal systemic infection in the very young, older frail individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. Listeria can also trigger miscarriages and stillbirths. Affected is lot number 3896 sold in 2-pound bags at BJ’s Wholesale Club stores. The recalled salmon was sold only at BJ’s stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia from January 31 through February 7, 2026.Do not consume this salmon.
