Black History Month 2022: Health and Wellness - Dr. Ebony

from Dale, Cuéntame ® · host Rossy E. Eguigure

As we did last year, during the launching of our 'bilingual multicultural' podcast, we are honoring and celebrating Black History Month. And this year's theme is 'African American Health and Wellness'.  If you follow us, you know that besides highlighting success, we also are focusing on personal wellness on the road to that success. In this way, supporting individual wellness, then we build the foundation for the wellbeing of our communities. That's why we think it's so important to have discussions about this year's theme celebrating African American Culture. One priority in the search of complete health is mental health, and this episode has key information on that. Christian Ucles interviews Dr. Ebony Butler, a psychologist in Texas, who is one of mental wellness influencers. Dr. Butler is a licensed psychologist who specializes in trauma recovery and strategies for effective communication, among other issues. She is also a Food Relationship Expert and helps women learn how to build healthier relationships with food and their bodies. Listen to this interview and if you like what you hear, please share it with who may need it. And let's get together to support health and wellness, every day of every year!
