reading readings, reading is a lot of the truth and power. Your host, Tyra's late night. And tonight I want to talk about Black masculinity and the threat that opposed to white supremacy. Now first, you know what I was on Google and masculinity?
You know, picture came up with Donald Trump. I thought it would be very interesting. And then I looked on images. His picture was up there again.
That's very interesting for them to have a picture of masculinity. And a man that's known to be impotent, as far as sexual behavior goes. However, he does, one thing he does do is he takes control of his domain and is the meaning. And he makes no bounds about it.
He does a lot of other feminists but I know they're tracing most people's seats. That's what they're going on. However, you know, I digress on that. And the fighting masculinity.
It is defined as a set of attributes, behaviors, and roles associated with boys and men. I mean, me, myself, growing up I always have been told you have to be a man. You have to egg mess him. And that's not lost for me.
But I'm saying what the new generation is. Nobody's putting much value of masculinity. As a matter of fact, people will say that being masculine is toxic which I find very interesting. But you know, they only say that it's toxic and it refers to black masculinity.
And Dr. Princess Chris Wilson, I love her works. And I was watching this on YouTube video on her on the other day. She was on a field downhill show.
And she said she had to put stuff in a brain computer to sort things out. So I put it in my brain computer. I was like, what are these just called masculinity? Toxic.
And who are the people fighting these people that say that black masculinity is toxic? And to be honest with you, the reason why is because black masculinity is the biggest supremacy. When we think about black masculinity in the United States, we think about black masculinity as seen as a threat. You know, when you are constructive, or sedative, or assertive, and you're a black male, you don't see any threat to the system of white supremacy.
And some of you may ask, well, why are you seeing seen as a threat? Well, the answer is very simple. When you're a black, less than a male, you're the man. From all types of women, from white women, like the teen of women, in black women.
That doesn't leave much to desire from the white males in their community. So what they're saying is they feel genetic annihilation. But what they don't really talk about is the fact that if black men were to just continue to be masculine, continue to be heterosexual, then they go just white people out the face of urges by existence because they might not be at this point. If you don't know what that means, that means they are not able to replace themselves as fast as their dying.
So for black people with press the mind, that's the way we treat them as a Black people. And that's partly because of the fact that they're written original people and we're guys original people and he made the same image of his likeness. But even when you're on a job, it seems that the more agreeable and submissive that you are, especially white men, a white people in general, the more quote unquote, likeable you are, more remarkable you are, then that's really a problem. really a problem because this next your job to be subservient or to buy down to like people or make them feel comfortable around you.
It is your job to be as assertive, constructive, and productive as you possibly can be in this world. You have to add things to this world and to this society and to your own society as a Black male and older your responsibilities. Along with that is to lead protect your family. And when I say family, I'm not just talking about your mom and your dad and your aunt and your uncle and I'm talking about your wife and your kids.
And we got to get back to that mind state where we are protecting our women and our children. We have to become more hypervision about that and we're extremely hypervision about the protection about women because we need these women to nurture our kids, to teach our kids, to stay on the first teacher of our kids. We need our women to have our back in a struggle that is systematic white supremacy and that's just one of the hell babies. But for them to raise our babies and to protect our beings.
And part of that is being there and being able to lead them properly and have a plan for them. I just plan to have sex or plan to procreate women. Now, when you're hypervision about the progression and increasingly focused on Black and father, you have viewed as a threat and white supremacy. And as I just explained, you have to be hypervision about these things.
But then again, the flip side of that, you are seeing as a threat. People see as a threatening figure and they're looking for moments and opportunities to expect you from the masculinity point where they could mentally bug break you. If you don't know what bug breaking is, this term that was used to rape slaves or rape male slaves back in the day, just to make them stronger. Now, in this climate that we call white supremacy, the value of Black masculinity has to be high enough.
We have too many people right around here and we're going to say this. And I want to say this and I don't want to offend anybody. The thing is though, we have too many men around here and too many feminine ways. And part of that is because they've been raised by single mothers and they don't even have an idea what it is, what it is to be a man.
They have no idea how to protect and provide for their family. And I want to, you know, but also don't know, I really do love Dr. Fazcrest Wilson's work. And every now and then I do really excerpt about how the book dies and papers.
And I'm going to read another one. It's called Chapter Six. And this is on page 81. I'm going to read this.
The title of this chapter is called Paletteys Behind Black Male Pestivity, Feminization, Bisexuality, and Homosexuality. Now she wrote this as of August 1974, which is, but you know, the thing is it's still going on today. Black male Pestivity and Feminization, bisexuality and homosexuality, are being encountered increasingly by Black psychiatrists, worked with Black patient populations. These issues are being presented by family members, personnel, working in schools, and other social institutions, all by Black men themselves.
Many in a Black population are rich and a conclusion that such issues have become a problem of epidemic proportion amongst the Black people in the United States. Although it was an almost non-existent behavioral phenomenon amongst indigenous Blacks in Africa, and that part right there, I can tell people that there is no traces of homosexuality before the invasion of other colonization of Africa. When the Europeans came in Africa, there was no known homosexuality going on before then. You know, Europeans and Romans, they conducted such things as homosexuality and civil women and pedophilia messing with your boys.
That stuff is not of African culture or African nature. Europeans started this. Now, I got to rest our continued reading. As Black psychiatrists and behavioral scientists, we need to understand fully the individual and social dynamics involved in these patterns of behavior.
We must be able to help our patients understand their conduct and change it if they still design. Also, we should be in a position to come in on the ultimate implications of these behaviors for the well-being of Black people. That's simply as individuals, but as a whole organism of people seeking life and maximum development. In a final analysis, behavior is not simply an individual affair, but when it multiplied by thousands, it has a profound effect on the life, future existence, and well-being of the total people.
Now, when we talk about homosexuality having an effect on the whole entire people or being feminized and having an effect on the whole people, what we're talking about is basically the fact that if you are a feminizing male, and you have a male child, their child, one of the most likely will become a feminized. He prior most likely will be weak, because he has no strong male power figures to teach him how to be a man or how to navigate this system of white supremacy. I keep talking about white supremacy because that's what we're living in right now. The interest is being engaged.
We're seeing that Black people are on cold with tangible 2020 and first no movement, shout out to Tariq. Now, we're seeing people attacking everybody from different angles. If you say that you don't like a candidate because of certain reasons and they're on cold and they're Black men taking this stuff no more, now you've got people coning and they've got people from the phone and saying they don't agree with it, it's toxic. Well, think of this, white men have been taught as a system again in a time.
This system of white supremacy is toxic. So what are we going to do about that? Now, we talk about the mental health and the state of Black people in our profound effect that white supremacy places on Black men in particular, the masculine principle. We talk about the principle that's supposed to protect and guide and ultimately and very importantly to the increase and alleviate any functions of this disorder, collectively in our community.
We talk about them attacking their principle. We talk about white supremacy attacking a male principle and Black men talk about the feeling themselves and standing up themselves. Oh, people think it's a problem. People think you're a threat.
That's because you're not feeling yourself. They want you to just lay down and die. They never make sense to me. I can never do that.
I can never just sit down and take any type of punishment from anybody. There's disrespect. I'll be disrespectful to my ancestors. That'll be disrespectful to my grandmother who raised me, my father who raised me, and my mother who raised me.
That'll be very disrespectful. Now, moving along. I want to read something else from Dr. Francis Chorus Wilson's book.
She says, the absence of a Black male model for the development of Black male children and youth result in epidemic levels of teenage pregnancy. Thousands of children abandon the power of security and adoption. Black male, bisexuality and homosexuality. Black female, bisexuality and homosexuality.
Increasing numbers of Black females with more education income than Black male counterparts. All any Black persons, persons, no bi- have Black couples, which I think is true. Now, what we have to do in my opinion is start building up these Black children from scratch. So I teach them certain things because me, myself, I have a son and I teach him about the system of white supremacy because he may, I mean, I had to deal with it.
But I know at this point, it's my job. You have to help him deal with this system. I know it is my job to get a prepare for this system and to ultimately dismantle this system if I'm unable to do it. And it's like time because every day I wake up, I ask myself, what can I do to destroy this system of white supremacy?
Because this is a system that has to go. And anybody disagrees with it and you're Black, then that's what you're sell out and you're useless. You're useless to society and you're useless to yourself and your family. So you have to be able to, you know, be able to stay in a fight.
Now, when we talk about Black male in Black masculinity, the standpoint about it is that people tend to have all these excuses for why they can't find the potential. Here's a list of these excuses to why people can't find a particular Black male. All of these Black men are not responsible. This is a whole bunch of illogical thought running around the reason.
That's it. That's why Black period. And that's the effect that I have in a strong Black male figure in the household and being really embarrassing a mother. When you're a Black masculinity, that's always under attack.
No matter where you go, go to the white places under attack. If you're more qualified, then somebody that's no more say moist or homosexual, then what are most likely the homosexual is going to get that position if it's a position that has power. Because they don't want to see a strong Black male in their position. Because then you see that's the threat.
That's just what it is. And the greatest thing, people that like being masculine and Black communities are bad thing. Everyone, I told somebody I said, there was actually about my son, if I allowed him to cry, because I told him that I come from a family that doesn't really express our emotions that much on their will. And they mean they're really sure emotions are they don't cry.
Because we say that it's not weakness. So do you like to say no? What am I saying? Why is that?
Because of the fact, I've got to prepare this man for the world. This boy for the world. He becomes a man. He's a boy right now.
But eventually he become a man. I got the crown for the world. And I got on the list on my list by the case. I talked about having those warrior eyes.
I'm trying to get myself a warrior eyes right now. I'm trying to raise a warrior not a warrior. That's my one warrior out of town. Now, some people may not agree with what I'm about to say right now.
But I've known say this numerous times. I said, I admire the Minister of American. I'm an American. He's an insert of a black man.
And he don't want to want to. You don't want to grow alcohol or any refill. He wants his own nations by his own people, by his own one, which is all money. Now, that's an example of black masculinity by the whole game.
And he's only rivaled by the actions of Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X. Those two other people that I look up to in black history. And another thing is the black masculinity wasn't so important. The system would be trying so hard to extinguish the mess of the principle of the black society.
They come over with laws to not black men up. They come over with laws to make us a poor class. When different people, Asians, people with no credit history in this country could come over here, give business loans. But black people are black men who built this country of a blurs when tears, not the black flesh.
They don't get to get those same loans. And here's another person. Now, this might shut some people. But when you think about Michael Jackson, that's all spoken as he was.
He was more assertive than you're most gangster rapper. He owned half of Sony, the Beatles catalog, his catalog, Elvis catalog, and many others. Now, which one of your gangster rappers ever going to be able to do that? And then not only that, he owned it, he came out and told me, listen, I don't know this.
I don't know something. I'm going to walk away from Sony only half of it. You know that he's dying, even though he's dead. He's still trying to damage his legacy with that leave a neverland documentary, that bullshit.
Although everybody that's in the documentary said that Michael didn't touch them, you know, and not trying to replace his legacy with a legacy of indecency and sexual decency. But you know, for a moment, let's take a look at the white people's legends, like Elvis. Elvis married a 14 year old, pedophilia, Jerry Lewis, he married his cousin. And she was like 12 or 13, pedophilia.
And right now, right now, right now, incest, just nasty. Paul Walker, he was 33 years old, a 16 year old, pedophilia. Really having? You haven't come up with any documentaries on these people, but you want to come out here and try to damage the legacy of a black man, even though he's gone.
Then I tell you, when you, when you, when you black, you display in type of masculine characteristics, that you seem as great. And they won't take you out. But they won't take you out. Because now we're coming together, we're sticking together.
And I'm telling you right now, the more masculine you are, the more of a threat you are, however, the more masculine you are, the more able to change the family, the more trust that he's going to have in you. And it's a, it's a bad time that we display our masculine characteristics and not be afraid of it. Not be afraid of people calling it toxic. Because there's not toxic.
There's no such thing as toxic masculinity. Then pie cats only too. If you want to talk about toxic masculinity, talk about Donald Trump. Talk about some of these white entertainers.
But you don't dare call it a original man, an assertive man, a black man, toxic. Because it's not what we're supposed to do and play people. Now I want to thank you guys for tuning in tonight. That's all I got for tonight.
I just owe truth to power. Good night.
