𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 Eta Nu Nu Graduate Chapter Columbus, Ohio Chartered in 2020 On today’s installment of "The Male Perspective,'' Eta Nu Nu is represented by its current Basileus - Bro. Matthew Coleman, Vice Basileus - Bro. Antonio Caffey, along with Bro. Dr. Judson Jeffries and Bro. Leon Peacock. In the midst of a global epidemic and barely three years into its charter, Eta Nu Nu has had a tremendous impact on the Columbus community. The 4th District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity has twice named Eta Nu Nu the "Social Action Chapter of the Year." The chapter has demonstrated a strong dedication to social projects by conducting breast cancer and prostate cancer awareness campaigns, offering mentorship to Columbus area schools, and awarding over $122,000 in scholarships, among many other achievements! On the evening of November 17, 1911, Omega Psi Phi was founded inside the Science Building (later renamed Thirkield Hall) at Howard University located in Washington, D.C. The founders were three undergraduates — Edgar Amos Love, Oscar James Cooper and Frank Coleman. Joining them was their faculty adviser, Ernest Everett Just. From the initials of the Greek phrase meaning, “friendship is essential to the soul“, the name Omega Psi Phi was derived. That phrase was selected as the motto. Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift were adopted as Cardinal Principles.” (https://oppf.org)
