In this episode, novelist Christina Garcia reads from her latest novel, _A Handbook to Luck_, on the October 6, 2009 edition of KNPR's "State of Nevada." Part of the novel is set in Las Vegas and tells the story of an exiled Cuban magician and his act on the Strip. Garcia currently serves as BMI's 2009-10 Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing.
