Shame, humiliation, and feeling she did not belong were the cornerstones of her childhood experience. Having overcome verbal, physical, mental abuse as a child and in a marriage. Vera knows it is important to understand we can take our power back by not allowing others, circumstances, or situations to take it away.   Vera states she cannot teach what she did not know or give what she did not have.
