Welcome to a special episode of Straight Outta Gallifrey.  We have a special guest, Tai Gooden, freelance writer, blogger, and Doctor Who enthusiast.  She has graced SOG with her presence and perspective to discuss Pearl Mackie, who is playing Bill, the new companion for Doctor Who!   As two Whovians who happen to be Black...oh forget it.  As two Black Whovians we wanted to discuss this new companion, Barber Shop style, commenting on what this means as far as "people of color" being able to identify and cosplay.  Yes, the news was announced a couple of weeks ago, but that doesn't mean the excitement isn't still in the air.   No new Doctor Who till Christmas.  Listen to this to help the wait.
