BLACKPOOL [H] ..... the verdict: reasons to be cheerful

Only one defeat in the past 12 league games, 4 clean sheets in the past 7 games, and a  first goal scored from outside the box this season, what wasn’t there to like about City’s well deserved win against Mick McCarthy's Blackpool who, like that other old stalwart manager Neil Warnock’s Huddersfield, look destined to be playing in League One next season.City dominated the opening half and deserved to be in front at the break but then a stunner from Weimann and an assured finish by Scott which capped a fine performance saw them run out easy winners.Ian, Mark & Neil are led in discussing the action by Dave P as well as looking forward to Wednesday's tough game at Luton.    Hosted on Acast.
