Blackstone Valley's Resilient Win

Colin Dorgan, a senior captain of the Blackstone Valley Schools hockey team, scored a game-winning goal in double overtime, propelling his team to the divisional championships. This victory came just under a month after Dorgan lost his mother, grandfather, and brother in a tragic shooting. The team, wearing special patches with the initials of his lost family members, has rallied around Dorgan, focusing on bonding sessions, counseling, and meditation to stay strong. The entire arena erupted in cheers when the puck hit the net, with witnesses describing the moment as pure movie magic. The close-knit group has turned grief into fuel, keeping their spirits high and heading into next weeks title clash with momentum and heart.
