Christian is joined for the entire episode by comic book creator, and comic book fan Jeff Winstead, who comiserates about the difficulties of comic book collecting in the mid-80s when you grew up in a rural area, their first comics, mutual appreciation for Spider-Man comics of that era, and how they both were disenfranchised in the early 90s by the compressed storytelling of the artist-driven work of that era, especially compared to the strong writing that preceded it, sharing some favorite creators and storylines.
