Blake Nelson's Syracuse Offer Breakdown

Blake Nelson, a 2028 multi-position star from Milton Academy, just landed his first Power Four offer from Syracuse after a standout camp performance. Versatile enough to play linebacker, defensive end, tight end, and wide receiver, Nelson impressed coaches with his athleticism and impact on both sides of the ball. Already earning CCL All-Star and League MVP honors, he’s drawn attention for his dominant play — including 850 receiving yards and 10 TDs as a tight end, plus 60 tackles and 13 sacks as a linebacker. Syracuse’s defensive coordinator Vince Kehres, known for his top-five-ranked defense at Toledo, stood out to Nelson as the ideal mentor. With a visit planned for game day and strong rapport with the staff, Nelson is clearly eyeing Syracuse’s future. Keep an eye on this rising talent.
