Blank lined paper
from Daily Picture Hosted by Stephanie Hawkins
Today I saw blank lined pages which I believe represent our lives ahead. It is true that we do not know what our future holds but we can know that God is showing us the direction we should go, in the same way that lines on a page direct our writing. Many bible verses attest to this. For instance, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:6); "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105). Jesus said he is the light of the world (see John 8:12) and he will not blot his followers' names out of the book of life (see Revelation 3:5). I want to be directed by Jesus in his book of life.
