Blaze Alexander Fractured Hand Incident | Kansas City Royals News

Blaze Alexander’s season took a brutal turn when a wild pitch from Royals’ Lucas Erceg fractured his hand, sidelining the Orioles third baseman indefinitely. Though Erceg insists he didn’t mean to hit him, the quick-pitch strategy sparked controversy — especially after teammate Vinnie Pasquantino’s online comments, which Alexander fired back at with a cheeky “Big Foot” jab. While Alexander denies intent, he blames the tactic for his injury. The Royals, already reeling with their fifth straight loss and a league-worst ERA, now face another hurdle as they try to rally — and the Orioles scramble to fill the void left by their star shortstop.
