Bleav in Taekwondo Gold Medalist, Ana Zolotic

On July 25, 2021 Team USA's 18 year old Sensation, Ana Zolotic made history as the first US Women's Taekwondo athlete to earn a Gold Medal since Taekwondo became a recognized Medal Sport. Here is a re-broadcast of our episode from 2019 as she was beginning her training in the USA National Center of Excellence, on her way to a future Olympic career. Congratulations to Ana and all of Team USA!Anastasija Zolotic is a rising star in the competitive Taekwondo landscape. She is one of the exciting young stars of the USA Taekwondo program. While her future is bright, and her career is just beginning, she has already amassed an impressive record. At just 17 years old she has already had a Gold medal winning performance at the Pan Am games. Her medal winning performance at her very first Senior Grand Prix made her the youngest Taekwondo athlete in the world to win a medal at a Grand Prix. Ana talks with Marc Zirogiannis about her love of Taekwondo and about USA Taekwondo's "National Center of Excellence" in Colorado Springs, where she will be training full time with Coach Gareth Brown. Coach Brown, together with Coach Paul Green, recently moved to the U.S to coach the her, and the rest of the USA team.
