Former test opening batsman Ed Cowan has a unique story about his own career transition. He studied at university and got a ‘real job’ before his cricketing talents provided the opportunity to turn professional. With the support of his family, friends and employer he embarked on a 16-year journey in one of the most mentally demanding sporting jobs on the planet – an opening batsman.
