BLESS - Eat with the Community

from Temple Cambridge · host TBC

What is your favourite food? That is often a question asked as people seek to know others. We might vary what we like to eat, but we all have eating in common. Eating is one of my favourite things to do and I dare say that I am joined by billions of others on the planets as one of their favourite things to do too. Just check out the food markets across the globe or restaurants or even family gatherings as prove of our love for food. Eating though is not just for replenishment. Eating is meant to be a communal event. You often see how one is uncomfortable when they eat alone in a restaurant. Maybe this is one of the reasons why we are called by Jesus to eat with others as we intend to spend the news of His Kingdom? This is what we see in Luke 10:7-8! I know that eating together has become more challenging during the pandemic, but ask God to help you be creative in having a meal with somebody (maybe using a video conference). Redeem the time you spend eating to do it with someone else for the sake of the gospel. You will BLESS them! Comments Terms & Privacy Closed captions Transcript Settings
