Blessed Are the Peacemakers | The Beatitudes

In Matthew 5, Jesus blesses peacemakers, stating they will be called “children of God.” Our interpretation of peace is often incomplete, missing some of the important context Jesus’ audience would have had. What is a peacemaker? How do we define peace? What does it meant to be called children of God?
