Blessed Every Step (Clean)

Working with my brother from another mother Stevie B, straight out of Duval County, Jacksonville Florida. A track about real talk and getting to your next place in life. To be plain as day, we did this track not for pure quality, it was recorded in a broken down bathroom with holes under the wall and no insulation. We did this track regardless of what the circumstances seemed to be. Simply because we know what focus and concentration can do, that it can make a champion even when your rim is made out of a close hanger. Since mic placement and over all sound of air and compression was almost impossible to duplicate, we did this in as few takes as possible... I actually kept all 11 original tracks of my takes (it was written freestyled as I prefer to do for sake of "feel")hence the "tuned" effect. I hope that the track blesses those who feel oppressed, that was the desire of my heart while recording, singing and mixing the track. Recorded on an original mac mini, protools 7, mixed in Logic Pro x... recorded with and old school mxl mogami edition mic... mixed in som at m50x... no studio monitors used.
