In this passage, Peter teaches the church what true Christian living looks like in a broken and hostile world. The good life God promises is not built on retaliation, pride, or self-protection, but on Christ-shaped humility, unity, compassion, and sacrificial love. Believers are called to respond to evil with blessing, guard their words, turn away from sin, actively pursue peace, and reflect the heart of Christ in their relationships. This sermon highlights God’s promise to watch over the righteous, hear their prayers, and bring justice in His perfect timing.
