Blessed In The Rest

In today's message, Pastor Jack teaches us that we cannot be truly blessed unless we find rest and peace within the storms of our lives. By examining the story of Jesus calming the sea, we see that while the disciples lost their faith because they lost their peace, Jesus was able to stop the storm because of the peace he carried within. Pastor Jack explains that as believers, we have been imparted with Christ's righteousness, giving us the right to succeed, heal, and prosper. We learn that our born-again hearts never agree with sin or the justifications our minds create, and we must align with God's will to maintain our peace. We are encouraged to embrace the truth that God has forgiven all our past, present, and future sins through our redemption, which frees us from the self-condemnation that steals our rest. By walking in faith and reflecting the qualities of the Beatitudes—such as meekness and mercy—we empower righteousness in our lives rather than our weaknesses.
