Blessed to Call Him Father

Anxiety grows when Christians measure God's love by their performance, failures, or lingering sin. Ephesians 1 grounds their security elsewhere: God chose His people before creation, is making them holy, and adopted them through Jesus' sacrifice because He loved them. God does more than choose and improve them. As His children, they work at holiness while trusting Him to complete the change. Grateful prayer and lifelong praise answer such fatherly love.
