Blessing and Curse

When we think about blessings and curses, most of us rely on past usages of the word. Blessings tend to fall into the realm of happiness or pleasure (more money, more expensive vacations, parking spots close to the door, etc.), while curses tend to fall into the realm of wands and spells (dark arts, ill intent from the spiritual realm, the devil, etc.).
