Blessing Lips || Pastor Jason Sharp

In this Sunday evening message, Pastor Jason Sharp taught about the incredible power that exists in the words we speak. The Bible teaches that the mouth reveals what is stored in the heart. Jesus said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, meaning our words are a reflection of the treasure within us. Pastor Sharp reminded the church that believers are called to speak blessing rather than cursing. When people carry hope, comfort, and faith in their hearts, those things begin to flow out through their words. God often uses people as vessels of encouragement to heal the hurting and restore those who are discouraged. Throughout Scripture, God called His people to speak comfort, shine light in darkness, and carry the burden of others. Revival often begins when believers begin speaking life instead of fear, hope instead of despair, and blessing instead of criticism. When the heart is filled with the treasure of God’s Word, blessing will come from the lips.
