Blessings from Godly Mothers

Jacob Kim   Proverbs 31:25-31   English Standard Version     25 Strength and dignity are her clothing,     and she laughs at the time to come. 26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,     and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. 27 She looks well to the ways of her household     and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;     her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women have done excellently,     but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,     but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,     and let her works praise her in the gates.   2 Timothy 1:3-7   English Standard Version     3 I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. 4 As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. 5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
