Building Spotlight: "The Arch Social Club is the oldest known continuously operating African American social club in the United States and the oldest predominately African American social club in Baltimore. The Arch Social Club move into the former Schantze’s Theatre in 1972. The Schantze's Theatre was built in 1912 as a vaudeville and silent film theatre.
