Blockchain, cryptocurrency, bitcoin - say what? There are a lot of confusing terms out there, and I wanted to get to the bottom of it. We have all heard about bitcoin - it was on the tip of everyone's tongue a few months ago and people were investing in it that have never even invested in their 401(k) or IRA (yikes). What about blockchain - the technology that needed to exist before bitcoin? I think it's time to roll up our sleeves and figure this out. The total market value of cryptocurrencies worldwide is now at its lowest since November, according to The Wall Street Journal.
