Starting October 31, 2024, at 15:00 PM UTC, trading and deposits of XMR will stop, and all open XMR orders will be closed. Clients can withdraw XMR until December 31, 2024. After that, Kraken will automatically convert any remaining XMR into Bitcoin (BTC) at the market rate, with the converted BTC distributed by January 6, 2025. Kraken emphasizes its commitment to offering a broad range of assets while complying with regulations.
