The hacker gained control of Nexera's proxy contract, upgraded it, and used the withdraw admin function to transfer the tokens. The stolen funds are being sold for Ether and bridged to the BNB chain. This attack is linked to previous exploits by the same hacker, who has been involved in other major incidents, including a recent $230 million hack of the WazirX exchange.
