This provides owners with greater legal protection against fraud and disputes. Justice Minister Heidi Alexander emphasized the law will keep the UK a global leader in crypto and tech. The bill, based on the Law Commission’s recommendations, introduces a new category of property to cover digital assets, ensuring the UK’s legal system remains up-to-date and competitive.
