The lawsuit alleges that Garlinghouse made misleading statements in a 2017 interview and will proceed to trial with a jury. This lawsuit is separate from the ongoing legal battle between Ripple and the SEC, which claims that XRP is a security.  📊 As per a Bloomberg report, British multinational bank Standard Chartered is creating a Bitcoin and Ethereum trading desk in London. Standard Chartered is launching a Bitcoin and Ether trading desk in its FX unit based in London, becoming one of the first major global banks to enter direct cryptocurrency trading. The move follows partnerships with regulators to meet institutional demand and supports the bank’s strategy in the digital asset ecosystem. Despite recent market volatility, including a decline in Bitcoin’s value, the launch of US Bitcoin exchange-traded funds has boosted market liquidity and institutional confidence in cryptocurrencies.
