07th May: Crypto & Coffee at 8👀 687 #BTC move after a decade 🟢 SEC delays Invesco Galaxy spot Eth ETF decision ❗ Philippines- Cryptocurrency Regulatory Framework ❗OKX has turned off the p2p function in Nigeria 👀 A mysterious holder has moved Bitcoin (BTC) worth nearly $44 million after receiving the coins over 10 years ago On Sunday, 687.33 BTC worth $43.7 million were moved after being dormant for a decade. The coins were initially received in January 2014 and have not been touched since. The current price of BTC at $63,467 means the investor has gained 7,228%. The transaction fee paid to move the coins was less than $2. This delay extends the review period by another 60 days to thoroughly assess the proposed ETF and related issues. The SEC has also deferred decisions on applications from other Ether ETF issuers, including BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, Franklin Templeton, Hashdex, and Ark 21Shares. Analysts had anticipated these delays, with recent downgrades in the odds of approval for ETFs, reflecting doubts about the SEC’s readiness to approve such products within the expected timelines. The aim is to protect Filipino crypto users. The SEC recently requested Apple and Google to remove Binance’s apps from their stores, arguing Binance lacks the necessary license.
