Blog Oklahoma Podcast 32: Independence Day Voice Memo

Greetings Everyone. I hope all of you had an wonderful and safe independence day holiday weekend. I originally intended to start off this podcast by read to you the Star Spangled Banner, the poem written by Francis Scott Key on September 3, 1814. Many of you will find it familiar as our national anthem, but remember before it was a song it was a poem. I thought it would make a good patriotic way to end the Independence Day weekend. But I just couldn't do it. It became very challenging to read out loud. I just couldn't do the poem justice. Every time I would start off, I would hear in the back of my head, (tune), the song and you want to sing. And you just can't read it that way. ...
