Words of the English lexicon have been demonized, distorted, and deteriorated for all of the wrong reasons. To define is to limit, but limitations placed upon language are placed for the sake of clarity. The clarity is the foundation. To throw away the original meanings of words destroys any foundation for the poetic realm to flourish. Language’s capture and out of frame, held at gunpoint statements of voluntary distortion blasted on every television has a visible effect on adulthood. But for those in the coming of age phase, there is a truly immeasurable ripple effect that has tossed them into a wasteland of a teenage kind. The majority of them are suffering the delirium that comes with navigating such a place. But there are a shining few using their teenage wasteland to grow strong before escaping and doing their part to liberate language and restore order.
