What if a group of fellas from Colorado got together and mashed together 70s era progressive rock and psychelia with death metal? You get Blood Incantation, a band who's been making waves in the heavy music scene since 2011 with their genre spanning releases. With four full length albums and three EPs released 2013, their latest release ABSOLUTE ELSEWHERE is exceedingly well done. With some subtle (and some not-so-subtle) nods to huge bands from past to present, this album is a monstrous record. You'd be forgiven if you were to question how Blood Incantation was able to successfully work the differing styles together.
