Send us Fan MailTonight is the final holiday episode, and the first of three episodes regarding Staunton, Virginia - a place not often associated with Edgar Allan Poe, but definitely one that the Allans visited at least 3 times from 1812-1813 (most likely much more.)  Coincidently, Mr. Bartley is also from Staunton.  Mr. Poe and Mr. Bartley tell some tales about the Washington Inn - a  haunted tavern  where the Allans stayed (but before there was blood on the floor.)  - Mr. Poe also talks about a fist-fight at the Washington between the governors of Maryland and Virginia.  This episode ends with (and what an ending,) a complex true story that occurred in Staunton that combines the death of a beautiful woman with mayhem, dishonesty, greed, and “murder most foul.”Below is a complete list of all this year’s eight holiday episodes (past and future) with dates:Wednesday, December 23 - Episode 16  - A Set of Poe - a charming Christmas story about givingThursday December 24 - Episode 17  - The Gift of the Magi - also about giving - and sacrifice.Friday December 25 - Episode 18 -  a regular episode of Celebrate Poe.  This episode is called Christmas with Poe, with some of the Christmas music we believe Poe enjoyed, and the Christmas that Poe learned that the love of his life was going to marry another man.Then I will skip the weekend to get ready for -Monday December 28 - Episode 19 - The Phantom Coach, Part One - a gripping tale of the supernatural from EnglandTuesday December 29 - Episode 20 - The Phantom Coach, Part Two Wednesday December 30 - Episode 21 - Dagon by H.P. Lovecraft - a man who said he never wrote a story within thinking of Poe.Thursday December 31 - Episode 22 - “The Outsider” also by H. P.
