in today’s video, we take a closer look at an incident involving Ashley Holzer and Hansel, where the blood rule was enforced. Many of you have asked how often this rule comes into play, and unfortunately, it happens more often than some might expect. We also discuss why we are not supportive of the “dab and see if it goes away” rule, especially in three-day eventing and show jumping. Pulmonary issues can be serious, and if a horse is bleeding from the nose, it’s not something that should be dismissed. When scoped, these cases can show just how severe the problem truly is.
