A l'inverse, ses concurrents directs comme Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo ont tous gagné du terrain en 2024. Le statut hégémonique de Google est visiblement challengé et la tendance n'est pas prête de changer : les moteurs génératifs basés sur l'IA comme Perplexity et ChatGPT Search gagnants chaque jour un peu plus de terrain.
