Blue is the New White #64 - Mackenzie Gillan, KickAss Careers

Got another KickAss Careers ambassador joining us today. An apprentice powerline technician that is intent on succeeding in her own right, Mackenzie Gillan. Like me, she hated being in class in high school. She spent most of her time playing hockey until a few unfortunate injuries caused her to take a good look at her future. Fueled by an intrigue for hands on work and how electricity is delivered to homes, she landed on powerline technician. Mackenzie is always looking for opportunities to improve so after her apprenticeship was delayed (not cancelled) she used the extra few months to finish out college. As for her definition of success... being able to have the confidence and abilities to be completely self-reliant and choose how she lives out her days. Inspiring words from an inspiring person.
