Today we have two very special and innovative guests on the show with a wonderful idea on how to connect and empower blue collar workers from all over. Robert Birch & Barb Hansen are the founders of Thinkin Blue, A career network that connects blue-collar and service workers to each other, educational and skills develop opportunities, new jobs and to companies that help them work and live. Robert grew up in the trades, always admiring his fathers work. Eventually that translated to pursuing a career in the trades himself and having a burning passion to help the people in them. Robert is a perfect example of a true visionary who used his expertise and skills to pave the way for his, and others, success. Barb grew up in Northern Ontario and has always worked with her hands. Her family built their own cabin, made their own syrup, and learned to truly appreciate the resources of nature. Eventually she went to college and worked as a lab tech, but before long she found herself switching careers to start a construction company with her husband. Robert & Barb have now come together to push the industry forward by providing a platform for workers, by workers.
