Blue Jays Crush Guardians in High-Scoring Win | Cleveland Guardians News

The Blue Jays just exploded for 11 runs, their highest total since May, led by Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s monster night—3-for-4 with a homer, double, and 5 RBIs. With seven 10+ run games this season and a 23-15 surge since late July, Toronto’s offense is firing on all cylinders. They’re eyeing their first season series win over Cleveland since 2021, with Guerrero heating up against them. But it’s not just the bats—the pitching staff has been elite since the All-Star break, leading the AL in ERA and strikeouts while keeping runs down. Jose Soriano, who’s allowed 3 ER or fewer in 7 straight starts, takes the mound today. A win would lock in the season series victory—a huge momentum boost as they push toward the playoffs.
