Blue Jays Hot Streak Continues | Kansas City Royals News

The Blue Jays are riding a hot streak, winning seven of their last nine games, including a 9-2 rout of the Royals yesterday. With a .500 record and a surge since late July, they’re looking to extend their momentum tonight against Seth Lugo. Veteran Max Scherzer, who’s rebounded strongly in his last six starts, takes the mound for Toronto, while the Royals’ Lugo pitched well against them last time out. Toronto’s recent roster moves and their strength in low-scoring games make this a critical matchup — first pitch at 8:10 PM.
