Blue Jays Move Van Eyk Ahead of Guardians | Cleveland Guardians News

Toronto Blue Jays surprise fans by sending rookie pitcher CJ Van Eyk down to Triple-A Buffalo just before a high-stakes series against the Cleveland Guardians — who they’re racing to catch for the final Wild Card spot. Van Eyk, who pitched scoreless against the Mariners days prior, has struggled this season with a 4.05 ERA in four games and injury setbacks. With momentum from their recent sweep, the Jays haven’t yet announced who’ll replace him — but rumors swirl that Jameson Taillon could be activated from the injured list. Every move feels critical as they battle for postseason life. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
