Blue Monday - Are Everton suffering an identity crisis on and off the pitch?

from The Blue Room - Everton FC Podcast · host The Blue Room

What could have been a memorable week of football that saw Everton move up the table and progress in the FA Cup has turned out to be a disaster. On the pitch, the team looks devoid of ideas and players lack confidence, and the manager is once again dampening expectations. Off the pitch, some fans are struggling to adapt to the new surroundings, and the club released a navy and pink that will only be synonymous with another early FA Cup exit. The timing of the (let's face it, needless) fourth kit couldn't have been worse, given comments from Tom Beahon, co-founder of Castore, who last week said: "We live in a capitalist society [not entirely true], if people couldn't afford it, those prices wouldn't be charged." Les and Dave go in on all that and those horrific penalties. We'd love to know your thoughts on it all. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
