Acts 1:1-11 gives us the promise of Pentecost and foreshadows all of the incredible moments ahead for the church. It's tempting to move right into chapter 2 to see the Holy Spirit fall and His flame begin to spread, but the interstitial passage offers us tremendous insight and convictions. To overlook Acts `1:12-26 would mean skipping over an account that emphasizes the love and passion the early church had for Jesus. In this message, we discuss this essential preparatory passage that sets the stage for Acts 2.
