Blues for Paige

Here's a tune i wrote for my Muse. 💖 Her name was Paige. After 35 years of adventures, friendship, and love that produced a wonderful daughter, and many grandchildren, she passed as suddenly as the moment we met. And yes... over the years, there were both passionate Blues and Heavenly Highs. And I still remember her daily. She was 'another kind of angel'. ;-) One who cared for every single soul she met. Her humanity and common decency knew no bounds, and those who met her were always blessed in some unique and meaningful way. . I wrote this tune a year into my sabbatical on Saturna Island to which I'd retreated to devote myself to creating music. I wrote it to celebrate her decision to move here full-time and share this part of my life with me. No longer would i have to travel back and forth between Saturna Island and Victoria to be with her. And i was overjoyed. Here's an inkling of the Passion and Love we shared. May you enJOY! p.s. Paige loved this Track and asked me to play it often, and at full Volume! :-D Who'd have thunk that only four years later she would die in my arms... and suddenly, at that? But she did.
